Hoplites

A free web-published card game based on GMT's SPQR. Each player uses a deck composed of cards representing ancient military units (infantry, cavalry) and special commands (flank, rally). Cards are drawn from these decks and played on a board representing the battlefield. The board is divided into three zones, the center and two wings. Units on the field may move, missile fire and shock with the enemy. The game features a variety of historical armies and commanders, as well as fantasy forces.
