Alone or in a team you experience an adventure, play through as many cards as possible and try to make a lot of points. The cards are sorted by color. After reading the story beginning, a black card is drawn, one of the paths is chosen and then the card indicated next to the path is drawn and so on. The drawn card is read and discarded, the discard pile may not be looked at again. If the card refers to a card that has already been drawn, the game ends and you add up the point values of the cards in the discard pile.
