Board Game
Ipse Dixit
By Dave De Vega
«Veni, vidi, vici», «One for all, all for one!», «I have a dream!». Do you know the most famous aphorisms? In this fun and original memory game for everyone, you associate each sentence with its author and discover sayings you've never heard before! The maps are shuffled and arranged scattered and covered on the table (in an easier way the tiles can be arranged in a 6 x 8 rectangle). The youngest player first discovers a map with a black back (author) and then a map with a beige back (aphorism). If he manages to match an author with his aphorism, he earns the maps and continues to play; otherwise he covers them and the turn passes to the next competitor. The game ends when there are no more maps on the ground: the winner is the one who has earned the most author-aphorism pairs. —user summary
