The Royal Bard is Dead! Hark ye! By Decree of the Monarchy, all who seek to become the Royal Bard shall gather in court to test words and wits. Don't be a bum, whether rhyme or hum, and weave a tale sending your competitors in fits! In Pierian Court, you and your fellow players act as poets competing for the coveted role of Royal Bard. You take turns playing word cards, completing poems by fulfilling specific poetry style criteria. Once completed, you perform your poem for the Court! After being read aloud, your peers then judge for quality and performance. You receive points based on votes. Whoever obtains the most points at the end of the game wins!
