The king has died and with only the twin princes remaining, both have claim to the crown, which means its time for internal war! The Machiavelli is an abstract two player board game where you must place and then move your pieces to either form a lign of 5 of your 6 pieces or flank the enemy prince with two of your pieces in order to depose him and become the new king. This game is one that may be quick and simple to learn however through gameplay you may find it's difficult to master due to the verity of different play styles and combinations you can experience in the quick yet intense matches you play against your friends and foes Inspired by many ancient games such as nine men's morris among others this game would not be out of place amongst rowdy tavern goers or stern military generals and soldiers.
