Los Sitios de Zaragoza

This strategy game from los sitios was published it in 1990 by the now defunct Ya newspaper. The French player must destroy 2/3 of the pieces of the Spanish player or starve the defenders of Zaragoza. The latter is achieved by keeping the city with its defenders completely under siege for five consecutive turns. The Spanish win if they avoid the French player to win. The city is completely besieged by the French when its counters completely surround the perimeter with their squares of influence for a full turn. The game is played in 16 turns. A turn consists of alternate movement and combat of the two sides. The French player begins.
