Mediterralien

A merchant in the Mediterranean is just trying to buy low and sell high, but an alien from another world is making that difficult by destroying everything in sight. In this asymmetrical 2 player game, one player takes the role of a merchant in a worker placement / action point game, while the other player takes the role of alien with swingy die rolls and special powers. An asymmetric clash of board game styles. One player is a merchant shipping goods through the Mediterranean Sea (worker placement, action selection). The other player is an alien bent on destruction (die rolls / special powers). Released in the January 2016 Board Game of the Month Club $10+ package.
