Donostiarrok harriz harri is a cooperative game about the reconstruction of Donostia / San Sebastian after its burning in 1813 by Wellington troops. The players, representing witnesses of the massacre and inhabitants of the city - Juana Francisca Arsuaga (servant), José Antonio Aguirrebarrena (carpenter), María D. Miloy "La naipera", Vda. de Barbot (maker of cards) and Manuel Joaquín de Alcain Baraibar (merchant and mayor) must rebuild the city, they all win or lose together. gameplay: The board represents the burned intramural city, with a grid of paths that the characters must travel. At start of game the four characters are in the Plaza Nueva among the remains of the city. The 4 players must rebuild the city. For that they must help each other to figure out where to start the reconstruction and to get the seven parts of the facade of a typical reconstruction building. To advance, some brick tiles are used and as many bricks as the number of steps you want to advance will be used. But the reconstruction was not easy and that is why the game also has adversity events (discouragement, illnesses, wars, lack of money).
