Board Game
Zero Quest
By Tom Harvey
Zero Quest is a cooperative game in which players will work together to explore a series of dungeons and defeat the infernal entity Zolzotha, trying not to succumb to his insanity-inducing madness in the process. There’s a catch though: players may not communicate other than by playing cards. Players may play a card at any time in any order. Navigation is by playing numbered cards, or a spell can be cast instead. Players start with the mighty 0 card, which must be carried to the final confrontation. Use it to destroy Zolzotha and win the game, or perish in the attempt. The principle is similar to The Mind, but cards are played with the goal of completing a game rather than just being a disembodied mechanic. —description from the designer
