The United States fractured into three countries in 2015: The United States of America (est. 2017), The Republic of Texas, and the Pacific Coast Conference. In 2019, Mexico provokes Japan into war by claiming ownership of the Pacific Ocean. The South American Union allies with Japan and they both invade Mexico. The Republic of Texas and the now-smaller USA also make land grabs in Mexico while trying to push Japan out. Meanwhile, everyone has a finger on their nuclear launch button. Sushi-Jalapeño War is a war game played with miniatures about four countries vying to control territory. The game is played in 8 rounds before the United Nations negotiates a cease fire (plus one, final, land-grab attempt by a country).
