うなぎと梅干 すいかと天ぷら (Unagi Umeboshi Suika Tempura)

The trick-taking game うなぎと梅干 すいかと天ぷら (Unagi Umeboshi Suika Tempura) was released as part of the publisher ruri ruri games' (るりるりゲームズ) Autumn 2017 box of trick-taking games, titled トリテセット1 (Trick Taking Set 1). The game is player with a deck of 36 cards, consisting of ranks 1 to 9 in four suits. The game is themed around food pairings that traditionally are believed to upset one's stomach: eel and pickled plums; or watermelon and tempura. In the game players will receive points for each pair of eel and plum cards they have collected at the end of a round, as well as each watermelon and tempura pair. Players will also be able to discard points for each 5 eel cards collected, as they have consumed enough nutrition. At the end of a given number of rounds, the player with the most points loses.
