Starving Artists: Sketch & Study Expansion

The first "new game mechanism" expansion for Starving Artists from the 2019 Kickstarter: These cards would be worth no food or points and don't count toward a canvas victory. However, when you complete the card, you can "sell" it (as your free action for the day) and take five paints from the bag of your choice. Not a random pull. These cards would be available to all players to take instead of a normal buy action. They cost nothing to take, but there's a limited number of them and you can only have one at a time. They are painted using five of any paint cubes like any other normal paint action. What this solves This new Sketch and Study option means: Players have a better way to convert unwanted/unneeded paints; Players can use the sketches to better utilize their painting actions (e.g., if you only need to paint once or twice to finish a canvas); and While they last, there's always something "to buy" regardless of how much paint you have and regardless if the market doesn't have a great set for you personally.
