Warbands & Warfare

This is a low maintenance wargame. All you need is one to two D20s per player, a pencil, and the player sheet in the back of the PDF. Miniatures are strongly encouraged, but are not required. Players assemble teams from a list of 27 historical warriors. Players take turns attacking their opponent, and their opponent rolls for defense. Each turn is split into a ranged round and a melee round. Each warrior has certain stats and advantages that players will have to utilize to overcome their opponent. The players can choose from the following soldiers to put in their warband: Apache, Assyrian, Aztec Jaguar, Centurion, Commander, Crusader, Diplomat, Gaul Warrior, Israelite Slinger, Janissary Turk, Knight, Longbowman, Maori Warrior, Mongol, Musketeer, Ninja, Persian Immortal, Pirate, Roman Legionary, Samurai, Scottish Highlander, Shaolin Warrior, Spartan Hoplite, Templar, Varangian Guard, Viking Berserker, and Zulu Warrior. —description from the publisher
