By (Uncredited)
On the 12 April 1861 the Confederate army bombs Fort Sumter, starting the American Civil War. On the 9 April 1865, General Lee and his Confederate army surrender to General Grant at Appomattox, ending four years of war. This game recreates the whole war (translation from box cover). There were only three types of counters in each band: generals, regular infantry and volunteers, plus conquest markers. Contents were: -64x80 cms. mapboard -counters -2 plastic trays for the counters -1 special die (without "1" and "6") -Rulebook Number of players: 2-4 (but ideally 2) Playing time: 180 min. approx.
