Board Game
Happy Nation
By Daniel Grest · Art by Ani Kreyer
Happy Nation is a game where players try to become the happiest player by deciding each turn on how to spend their time and money. In this game, happiness is the collection of all your joyful experiences. Each of the 5 characters produces unique items, which the other players can buy to achieve their goals. In addition to time and money management for actions, the setting of prices and convincing other players to buy your items or to work more is an important element. Players identify quickly with the real-life theme and one of the 5 characters: Builder, Farmer, Entertainer, Banker or Doctor. The game brings all elements for a 1-2 hour playing experience, with the right mix of strategy, luck and interaction. As a bonus you might learn how bank loans function in our societies. —description from the designer
