Las Ligas de la Ñ is a strategy board game for two players based on the Spanish literature. The game symbolizes a battle between two leagues, with the objective of beating the opponent’s leader. The game is played in an 8x8 board. The pieces are represented through cards, having each one its own powers. There are different powers, such as elimination, change of side, change of square, use of objects (Cruz del diablo, Miserere, Grial), mobility, loss of power or theft of objects. The leader can only be defeated with the elimination power. Every piece is moved one square orthogonally. The player one is the Black League and the player two is the Red League. Black League starts. Players take turns to choose and place over the board the twelve initial pieces. Finally, before starting the game, players must reveal who their leader is. —description from the designer
