Dronica
By Joe Morelli · Art by Apolline Etienne, Joe Morelli
Two-four players maneuver their drones around a crowded battlespace, vying for advantages in space and positioning. Place and move your drones strategically to control key areas, allowing you opportunities to disable your enemy and protect your Controller. Work to impede enemy Controllers by forcing them to the outskirts of the battlespace. Be the first player to surround your Controller and unleash a final attack, destroying all enemy forces. Game Type: Abstract Game (Hex-tile) Mechanics: Tile Placement, Modular Board This is a boardless positional strategy game where players try to control space, lay traps, disable their enemies, and protect their Controller. The first player to completely surround their Controller wins the game. The combination and interaction of the different drones fosters depth of strategy and supports various types of play (e.g. quick/offensive, sneaky/traps, conservative/defensive). —description from the publisher
