Aerodrome II
By Stanley Kubiak
Aerodrome II is a miniatures game of aerial combat during World War II. Players take roles as pilots in fighters and bombers. Each player controls a 1/100 or 1/144 airplane mounted on antennas allowing planes to be at differing altitudes. The planes move over hexes on a table dueling with other players to shoot each other down. As with Aerodrome, pilots pilot three moves at a time. There are many more maneuvers that these planes can do as compared to the World War I version. Movements occur simultaneously and pilots may fire on any plane down the hex row that his plane is pointing. Firepower differences between aircraft are simulated by rolling different sided die for determining hits.
