Xi'an Prestige
By Francesco Testini · Art by Davide Corsi
In Xi'an Prestige two master builders compete to gain the most prestige in the emperor's eyes by building the most beautiful terracotta warriors during the first chinese dinasty (Qin Dinasty, 221-206 b.C.). Players collect mineral pigments, forge equipment, build different types of terracotta warriors and supervise the building of the mausoleum. During the game players also need to hire important characters of that time to strengthen their prestige. In its turn the active player must collect one card from one of the groups available. By doing so they may spend, move or obtain precious and tight coins. All the cards have a double use and the choice will always be tough. When the deck of cards is exhausted, the player with the most prestige points is declared winner. —description from the designer
