Bumpers

Bumpers is a board game that incorporates card counting, collusion, competition, bluffing, and risk taking. A complete Bumpers set includes 1 game board, 12 game pieces (called bumpers), and a 52-card deck. The 12 bumpers are divided among 4 teams, which each team starting with 1 large bumper and 2 small bumpers (3 bumpers per team, 4 teams, so 12 bumpers total). The board displays a series of spaces connected by lines; bumpers move to and from said spaces along said lines. The goal of the game is to be the player the holds the only large bumper on the board for 1 full turn. No bumper can pass any other bumper, large bumpers can only land on (capture) other large bumpers, and small bumpers cannot capture or be captured any other bumpers. Players take turns drawing a card from the draw deck and playing cards from their hand. Players then move their bumpers based on the cards they played, corralling, controlling, and capturing their opponents' large bumpers. —description from the designer
