By Kenichi Tanabe · Art by HAL10WEEN
コティングリーフェアリーズ ~妖精の見つけ方~ In this game, players are exploring the forest near Cottingley, looking for the elusive Fairy Circles. Arthur Conan Doyle believed in the famous photographs of the Cottingley Fairies, taken in 1917. Can you find them too? Forest cards are turned up, and players bid to win a card in a blind auction. Each player hides some Explorer coins in their fist; players bidding most choose their Forest card first. The Forest card has 6 areas, some have mushrooms in them, red or white or yellow. The player gets to place the card how they want, exploring the forest as they go. When a player completes a Fairy Circle, a ring of mushrooms all of one type, they score points. The larger the space surrounded by the circle, the more points they win. There are bonus points too if one the Fairies is present in the circle.
