Board Game
Sector 7
By Matthew Peter Bailey
Sector 7 is a two-player, information based abstract strategy game with a random starting set-up. On the 4 orbits around a pink planet, both players place four/five ships, the goal of the game is to remove all of the opponent's ships. Each player holds three cards. There are a further three cards face up in the center that each display possible movements. On a player's turn they can choose one of the cards from the center and: move one of their pieces on its orbit to the sector indicated by the chosen card, then replace the card with a card from their hand; move a moon along its orbit by the number of spaces indicated by the chosen card; or move one ship to an adjacent space. These actions may not be repeated until all possible action types have been completed. Moving a ship onto one of the opponent's ships removes that ship from the game, as does hitting an opponent's ship with a moon. Players can regain a ship if they occupy a moon as it moves into sector 7. Removing all of the opponent's ships wins the game. -description from publisher
