Empire Strikes: Battle of Hungary in 1945
Empire Strikes – Battle of Hungary in 1945 is an operational level game on the struggle in Hungary between Soviet and Germany forces during the last year of WWII. The game starts as German army launches Operation Konrad in attempt to relief the Budapest encirclement, and covers the fighting all the way to the end of the final major German offensive of the war: Operation Spring Awakening. The game includes logistical mechanics as both players need to trace their supply line through a chain of supply units to HQs before able to activate the HQ for unit activation. Both side also can use their armored forces in a extra breakthrough segment that allows rapid maneuver and exploitation. The game have 3 scenarios: Operation Konrad, Operation Spring Awakening, and the full campaign scenarios. Component: 1 Rulebook 2 Player Aids 1 590x420mm Map 140 Counters 1 6-sided die
