Disloyal Royals

Disloyal Royals is a two player card game that uses only standard playing cards and dice. At the beginning of the game, each player is dealt a jack, queen, and king. This is your royal family. The royal family wants to collect riches (diamonds) and bury them (face down) for safe keeping. Throughout the game, players will attempt to dig up their opponent's riches using their shovels (spades). When this doesn't work, they will attack their rival using their clubs (clubs). To protect against clubbings, they will strengthen their defences (hearts). The player with the most buried riches (diamonds) at the end of the game wins. —description from the designer
