Death Struggle: Barbarossa 1941
By Lou Coatney · Art by Billy Bunker, Lou Coatney, Robert Scott Coatney
"Death Struggle: Barbarossa 1941" is a Brigade to Division to Corps/Army level wargame with many pieces but incentive to create the (much fewer) higher level units to speed gameplay. 24 miles per hex - 30 hexes from Warsaw to Moscow. 15 half-month turns, IIJun41-IIJan42, enabling the Russian Winter counteroffensive. Includes a breakthrough/Blitzkrieg second, Tactical movement and Combat result. Has Air units and simplified/abstracted Airwar rules. Introductory subgames for Leningrad, Moscow, and (a little one we have played the heck out of) Rostov.
