State of Wonder

State of Wonder is a Card Game of Skill, Deceit and Strategy. Recruit mighty armies to destroy your Enemies or build a Great Wonder to show your power and seize the throne of Scathia. In State of Wonder you are trying to take the throne of Scathia, a large kingdom of several city states that is in full civil war after the Queen died. You accomplish this through building and protecting an awe inspiring wonder or through destroying all others who dare to fight for the throne. No ruler can stand without the might of others. Stand united with one of the three powerful factions, the Noble Crux Militem, The Cunning Frifolk or the Mystical Ritualists! State of Wonder features a very deep combat system. Where players siege each others cities and fight in the open field. Taking turns activating units during each combat phase. State of Wonder also has a Production System based upon deceit. When cards are played they are put face down into the production system, showing the cost that was payed for the card. Players can pay more than what is stated on a card, to confuse their enemies as prediction will lead players to victory. In State of Wonder, every decision you take matter, as there is only one random element. Who Goes first. There is no card drawing, no die rolling and no coin flipping. Are you the one to take the throne, or will you fall to the might of another conqueror?
