Total War Cards: Punic Wars
By Robert Fletcher
Total War Cards: Punic Wars is a two-player card game which takes place in the ancient Punic Wars between Rome and Carthage. Gameplay: Both players pick an army and fight over different regions to gain score cards for the end of the game. Every turn you can overpower your opponent in a region by placing better army cards than them or gain distinct bonuses by advancing through the technology tree to gain an edge. Winning the game: Points are scored according to the combinations of Territory each player captures. After six turns of play, the scores are added up, and a winner declared. The game features a little bit of strategy, bluffing, foresightedness and luck and is very simple to play with children.
