Battleblade

Battleblade is a skirmish-level fantasy wargame. Usually using less than 10 figures per side, players pit their party of warriors against their opponent's in one of several objective-driven scenarios. Battleblade uses the same Command & Cohesion mechanic introduced in Laserblade but shifts the focus more towards close combat as well as adding rules for magical attacks, all driven by the roll of a single D10. Offering a point-based system for character creation, players are free to create the battling party that best matches their playing style. With games lasting as little as 20 minutes a time, it's possible to complete a whole campaign in an evening, or to play a quick warmup game before settling down to play your mass-battle game of choice...
