Hat-Trick: 'Players' Expansion, the first expansion for the card-driven soccer simulation Hat-Trick, includes rules and components for the following: 22 player roles – from now on you will be able to customize your line-up by assigning roles like Playmaker, False no. 9, Wingback, etc. to your players. 44 player skills – each of the 22 player roles has 2 unique skills - a stronger and weaker one. Depending which side a given player is on, he will be able to use one of these skills. 45 unique national teams – by means of the new system, the game recreates 45 national teams, each with different strength, line-up and playing style. 12 style cards – from now on each team will have an assigned playing style – technical, tactical, physical or total – and, thus, will be able to use the corresponding Style Cards to perform style-unique plays. 6 match events – the expansion introduces 6 match events like corners or substitutions. 3 budget cards – the Budget Cards make it possible to customize teams of different mentality (attacking, balanced, defensive) and affluence. This way you will be able to recreate any team in the world.
