Admiral's Order: Algeciras 1801
By Mario Jugel · Art by Mario Jugel, Thomas Whitcombe
Admiral's Order: Naval Tactics in the Age of Sail is a simulation of naval engagements between ships-of-the-line and frigates in the Age of Fighting Sail. The focus of the game lies on the wars between Britain and France and her allies in the years 1775 to 1815. Algesiras 1801, an extension to the Edition 74 or All Hands! versions of Admiral's Order, simulates the first battle of Algeciras at the 6th July 1801. While the French laid at anchor at the Spanish coast, secured by coastal batteries and gunboats, a British squadron attacked. Algesiras 1801 includes many additional rules to simulate the batteries, gunboats and squadrons at anchor and the shore. It comes with a large map, showing "La Bahia de Algesiras" near by Gibraltar.
