Brick Work

Brick Work is the brick building, dice rolling, worker placement strategy game for two players ages 9+ that takes between 15 and 30 minutes to play. At the beginning of the game, each player builds an object -- called a brickprint -- out of neutral (yellow) bricks. The first player to rebuild both brickprints using bricks of their color (red or blue) is the winner! Each round, all four dice are rolled, then players alternate turns by choosing one die from the shared pool and placing it onto the game board to collect bricks of their color, connect bricks in their collection, or manipulate future die rolls. When all of the dice are placed on the board, the round ends, turn order changes, and a new round begins. However, a player can "bump" a die off an occupied action space. A bumped die is rolled and returned to the shared pool, extending the round by one turn. By strategically choosing when to bump -- and when not to -- you might be able to eke out a few extra actions over the course of the game! Brick Work is a fast, fun, deceptively strategic game that combines the joy of brick building with creativity, puzzle solving, and modern game mechanisms.
