Board Game
Who's Your Heavenly Father?
By Stentor Danielson
Players aim to deduce who the One True God is, and to become virtuous in His eyes, before Judgment Day. Each of the 10 possible gods prefers a different combination of the four virtues: Benevolence, Justice, Selfishness, and Xenophobia. Players accumulate virtue tokens by responding to cards with moral dilemmas, hypothetical situations in which they must choose between exhibiting one virtue or another. They may also use Prophet and Skeptic cards to look at the false gods, deducing the identity of the One True God by process of elimination. Eventually someone will call for Judgment Day, when the One True God is revealed and players receive positive or negative points depending on which virtues that god liked or did not like.
