Root the Loot

Midnight: Three faithful ferrets keep watch over the scouts' supply tents but, deep beneath them, "Operation Scout About" is underway. Root the Loot is a game for two players. One commands three moles on a midnight raid who must pick up as much loot as possible and return it to the safety of HQ. The other controls three ferrets who are guarding the loot and must capture the moles as quickly as possible. Moles move two junctions at a time through the tunnel network, trying to run rings around the ferrets who can only move one - strategy and tactics for where to move is key to the game. A little memory is involved to remember which mole(s) hold the most loot; this is otherwise a 'perfect information' game with no luck or hidden parts.
