Board Game
Ashtapada
By (Uncredited)
This game was mentioned for the first time in an ancient Buddhist text (Vinayapitaka). It's a typical roll-and-move game. Players move around the board in a spiral fashion. Each player has two pieces, landing on another player's piece removes that piece from the board. Marked corner squares are "safe" spaces. First player to get both their pieces to the center four squares wins.
