Operation Dragoon
During the years of preparation for the invasion of Europe, the Allies established an initial landing in southern France to support the main assault on Normandy. This plan was then called "Operation Anvil" ("Anvil"). However, it was not possible to divert naval resources for the Mediterranean and Operation Anvil, now renamed "Dragoon," was postponed to August. The 15/08/44, "Operation Dragoon" was triggered. The success was total. There is an hexagonal map of south of France with Marseille and not Marseilles (this city is unique!). The counters represent the german, US and Free French Forces with Colonial units. The rule book is in portuguese, but rapidly translated in english.
