LEAP FROG: Bilingual Memory Mate

A memory game that teaches you French. Memory Mate uses simple object matching to improve your child's concentration. Trying to remember where the pig, dog and chicken are hiding is a fun way to hone memory skills - all-important building blocks of learning! A pair of puzzle cards match by picture and fit, one puzzle card as the English word and the other the word in Spanish. Spread out all the cards facedown on a large flat surface. On your turn, flip over two cards to try to make a picture match. If you match a pair, fit them side-by-side and say the name of the object shown in English and French. Keep the pair and try again for another match by turning over two new cards. If the two cards picked don't match, your turn is over. Flip the cards facedown and try to remember where they are for next time. Players alternate turns and continue to match until no cards remain. The winner is the player with the most pairs.
