Planet Masters

Designed by Toco, this free DIY dicegame won first place in a design-contest at GeekDo. (Twilight Imperium Express.) Planet Masters is a dicegame that contains all the excitement from boardgames about planetary control and war. It captures much of the core essence: clash of fleets, embittering politics and empire building. Planet Masters compiles cunning game mechanics into a very compact dicegame. A set of only 4 dice per player is necessary to play. Each player starts with one planet dice to build expand his empire. Players roll planet dice for resources to build weapons (dice) and gain power. This power can be used to conquer planets from other players. Some free planets (dice) are in a common pool called "Galaxy". When a player rolls a "Transporter" ship icon on his weapon dice, then she/he can capture a fresh planet to add to his empire. First player to reach a preset amount of victory points wins. While playing other boardgames of space conquest can consume hours per game, this express version enables you to play a quick game that only lasts a couple of minutes. Now you can conquer galaxies during lunchtime! Invading planets and building a galactic empire has never been this fast.
