Blood, Steel and Sand: The Battle of First Alamein
By Paul Rohrbaugh · Art by Bruce Yearian
Blood, Steel & Sand takes the Rohrbaugh's "quick-play" Blood and Steel series wargame to the deserts of North Africa. Like Blood and Steel, the game's complexity is low with only minimal additional rules. The unit sizes are Regiments & Brigades. The players assume the commands of Rommel and Auchinlek. The game uses the innovative chartless CRT and the chit activation system to allow players to maneuver and fight their formations.
